a look into my life

Lacey has always been intrigued with all outlets of art. She grew up making crafts in girl scouts, painting and drawing in art classes, watching and helping her mom make artificial flower arrangements in her basement home studio, peering into her dads wood workshop in awe of all of his creations, and finally falling into makeup around fifteen years old when her older sister introduced her to a direct sales makeup brand. Little did she know at the time, all of these things would fuel her future passion in life. Lacey practiced makeup on all of her friends as a teenager, and was told over and over again to become a makeup artist. So what did she do?

Well instead of pursuing her dreams of being a makeup artist right out of high school she went into the United States Coast Guard. Lacey served her country for four years learning many life skills. Once her enlistment was over she attended Saint Leo University where she earned her Associates of Liberal Arts Degree. From there she decided that it was finally time to really pursue her aspirations of becoming a hair and makeup artist, and she's been at it ever since!

Lacey graduated from Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida which was a four month makeup intensive school made up of many different disciplines throughout the makeup artistry world. Some of the classes encompassed skin care, sanitation procedures, airbrush, bridal, runway, body painting, brow shaping, and even special affects and prosthetics.

She then graduated cosmetology school from Lowell Academy Hair Styling Institute in Lowell, Massachusetts a few years later, and currently calls south New Jersey home working mainly around the Philadelphia PA, Wilmington DE, and surrounding areas.

Amongst makeup and hair styling, another major part of Lacey's life is her family. She is happily married to a handsome man whom she met on her very first day of work in the Coast Guard, and they adopted and rescued the sweetest little pup named Louis.
